A good news to all  Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I) owners as your Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update has just officially released by Samsung itself.  The initial roll out has arrived in India as of this time being. Other countries like Australia, New Zealand and the rest of southeast Asia might also arrive very soon.  The first Android M released build came as G900IDDU1CPD1 landing on both unbranded (unlocked version) and carrier branded (network locked) Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I) in India alone. How to Update the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900I to Official Android 5.0 Lollipop


Samsung always urge us to prepare the following important notes to consider before performing the software update.  I have also added some useful insights why you should follow this procedures to keep your  phone in safe.

Recharge the phone’s battery – You should make sure your device is fully recharged before performing the software update. Do not also remove the battery during the software update is in progress. Choose the new Kies 3 which supports the Galaxy S5 SM-G900I and other Samsung devices running with Android 5.0 Lollipop to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS .  Once you installed Kies 3, all you need is connect your Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900I to the computer using the USB cable, then simply run and follow Kies on-screen software update instructions.
